Nisaku Hori Hori
The Japanese-made Nisaku Hori Hori is the genius progeny of a trowel, knife and saw. It is also sometimes called the "weeding-knife" and may be the most versatile gardening tool you will ever use. The Nisaku Hori Hori knife has both straight and serrated edges that are useful for dividing plants, planting bulbs, flowers and herbs, digging out weeds, removing rocks, and cutting through roots. It has a comfortable wooden handle that allows for a good grip for all-day digging and ensures you push into the soil with much more control.
When weeding with the Nisaku Hori Hori, we recommend using the serrated edges to cut back enough to see the roots. The Hori Hori Knife is perfect for removing bermuda grass, a type of rhizome grass. With this type of weed, if you leave behind any of the roots, a new plant will start again. So fold the weed strands into your hand, and use the Nisaku Hori Hori knife to keep digging until you reach the root of the plant and can pluck it out. Do the same for any other kind of weed when using the Hori Hori knife.

Nisaku Nejiri Bent Neck Sickle
The Nisaku Nejiri Bent Neck Sickle is a traditional Japanese weeding and cultivating tool. Its fine-pointed and angled blade allows easy access to tight and hard to reach places. The blade comes razor sharp and is well-suited for weeding, cultivating and creating seed rows. It is easy to carry and can handle relatively large weeds down to the smallest. Stainless Hand Weeder
The Stainless Hand Weeder is sometimes also called the daisy weeder. It is ideal for levering out deep tap roots from garden beds and lawns without damaging or disturbing the surrounding plants or turf.
When weeding with the Hand Weeder, use the traditional tongue fork design to poke into the soil near the root of their weed to loosen the soil up. Then use your other hand to hold the top of the weed and push the hand weeder down like a lever toward the earth to pull the weed's root up.

Youngju NAS Sickle
The Youngju NAS Sickle is produced in Korea in the traditional way by master blacksmiths in the Korean forge. It is a heavy-duty thick blade sickle for cutting woody weeds and covering large areas in no time. We recommend the sickle for cutting grass in tight areas, chopping down cover crops, and harvesting plants such as comfrey, nettle, lemon balm and mint. It is much faster and easier to use in many instances than a pair of pruners.
When weeding with the Youngju NAS Sickle, its blade curves towards the inside facing you, so you must be very careful. You use the sickle by using an inward motion of drawing the sickle towards you and slicing down the weeds that it encounters.

Youngju Homi Medium
Youngju Homi Medium is a traditional Korean tool used as a weeding hoe or hand plough. The Homi is a versatile tool that can be used for digging, grounding and removing all kinds of weeds, seeding, and planting. We highly recommend having something like this in your gardening arsenal as the sharp point is a great digging instrument, the blades on the side can be used for cutting, and you can remove deep weeds when digging with it.
