A4 size book intended as a starting point in the study of sedges, rushes and restiads, and is a companion volume to "Grasses of the Noosa Biosphere".

Contains full size images of  sedges, rushes and restiads encountered around Noosa and the surrounding districts, including those that were introduced and have become weedy. Provides botanical and common names, and a description of the key features. Specimens have been pressed, dried, identified by the Queensland Herbarium, mounted and scanned. Photographs provide different views and magnification to assist with identification.
