Grasses of the Noosa Biosphere

A4 size book describing 129 grasses encountered around Noosa and the surrounding district, with 70 native and 59 introduced species. Many are common to the wider Sunshine Coast and Cooloola, while others are found throughout South East Queensland.

Full size images of the 129 grasses are provided, along with the botanical and common names, and a description of the key features of the grass. Grass specimens have been pressed, dried, identified by the Queensland Herbarium, mounted and scanned. Photographs provide different views and magnification to assist with identification.

Aspects such as landscaping, pastures, weeds and bushland regeneration are also included.
