TrailBoss 4pc Handle

A range of professional, innovative trail building/fire fighting tools which break down into small sections which fit in a typical trail-size day pack. Comprising 3 or 4 section handles and a range of easily interchangeable heads to suit almost all tasks. The 3 and 4 section handles feature a powder coated 4130 chromoly steel base section and either 2 or 3 top sections manufactured from pultruded structural fibreglass (base steel section provides extra strength whilst the fibreglass sections provide great strength/weight performance). Section couplings and made from CNC machined aircraft grade 6061-T651 aluminium, joining via a sprocket style fitting and threaded outer coupler. Couplings are joined to the tube sections with aircraft grade structural epoxy. All fasteners are 18-8 stainless steel. Tool heads are manufactured from tempered alloy steel or forged ductile iron mounted to the Trail Boss coupling adaptor for attaching to the handle. 3 and 4 section handles are both 122cm long when assembled, with the 3 section breaking down to 3 x 41cm sections and the 4 section breaking down to 4 x 31cm sections.
