Nokokari 403 Serrated Grass Shear

The Nokokari Hamono No. 403 is a specialized Japanese gardening shear designed for cutting tough weeds and grass. It is part of the "Nokokari" (serrated) series produced by Yoshioka Hamono in Ono City, Hyōgo, Japan, a company known for hand-forging high-quality edge tools since 1946. They feature a distinct design where one blade is straight and the other is serrated, allowing them to grip and slice through grasses without slipping. 

This is a great tool for pruning Australian grasses including Lomandra, Dianella, Poa and other clumping grasses as well as final shaping.
