Induction hardened, heat treated blade edge - now Teflon coated for faster cutting & deep anvil hook with self cleaning sap groove for optimum performance. Centre oiler bolt reduces wear. Heavy duty precision coil spring. Deep grove pulley system provides cutting leverage. Strong, durable rope with hardwood handle. Maximum cutting capacity is 40mm for soft, green timber, but for hard or dead wood the maximum cutting capacity is 15-25mm (limited by strength of person cutting).
